Your Thought intrigues me. I do like slave!fic, especially when the slavery is non-consensual or spell-induced. A consensual Master/slave relationship has to be done well, though; most people don't want to be a 24/7 slave, so it puts me off when a character suddenly develops the urge to sign over his life.

I totally agree; playtime is all well and good, but if my partner started thinking it extended beyond the horizontal surface of choice, I'd be out of there in a flash.

By the by, are you signing up for HD_Inspired? Sign-ups start in 18 hours and I have no idea if I want to claim a prompt, much less which one to claim! Mostly I'm nervous because I've never written anything of length before and feel doomed to fail. Maybe I could just take a smutty one and fill it with sex and no one would notice?

I'm not sure. I'm already doing hp_creatures and a Captain John (from the Torchwood fandom) ficathon, and there's a couple of hp_creatures prompts left I'd love to grab once I've finished the fic for my current prompt.

Plus, Hogwarts!fic... I sort of like it, but it's not my favourite theme. On the other hand, there are a couple of awesome prompts up.
