Sleepover meme

I have been suffering from one of those exhausting colds that feels like flu since Saturday evening. Came back to London today from what was actually a very nice visit home, even if I was too ill to actually see a couple of extended-family people after all. (Elderly types who didn't need me giving them my chesty cough.) Am now listening to fierce lady-pop to make myself feel better. I got 1989 , Taylor Swift's new album, from Youngest Sister for Christmas and have listened to it... four or five times since then? I always liked her, and I've loved her so much more as she got older and left the virgn/bad girl motifs behind.

Also I keep listening to These Girls Fall Like Dominoes and drowning in female-friendship-and-Nicki-Minaj feels. I may have to make a mix soon. Or get over my inexplicable embarrassment and post a couple of the ones I've made for myself before; I've discovered a lot of great music through other people doing that.
