If you got sick of over-awesome Sebastian, you'll likely find episode 1 of the anime heavy going :) But it might be worth checking out for the fanservice and fun meta-y stuff. I fully admit to loving it so much cos I threw myself into the ridiculous awesomeness of Sebastian and the occasional chibi, though :)
