I think you've got almost all of my favourite things about the pairing in one fic, without me telling you them. Quiet companionship, shared war experiences, a joint love of painting and art, Dean's patience with Luna's strange belief of animals which don't exist. And just *happy wriggle* Thank you.
ETA: And you're right, flowerpots and ribbons don't really say kink. This is what I get for taking prompt inspiration from what I could see (the flowerpot).
Oh, also, it was the right kind of gently amusing.
And no comments on the Buffy, since I've still not managed to watch the show.
