This is an absolutely gorgeous ficlet in the comments of one of my National Poetry Month poems and it’s a scandal that I haven’t recced it before because. So many feelings. Natasha’s difficulties of identity, choosing her name as her signifier and her confused memories, and whether she can love with her identity so uncertain or if she’ll always just be acting out her training. idk it’s just 600 words of pure, grade-A awesome.

Very heavy on the art this week, mostly because I’ve been using the family computer a lot - I’m at Mum’s until Sunday, when I move into the new place. Weirdly, I would rather risk the odd bit of porn when my sister might pass (luckily, Mum & Youngest Sister spent Tues-Fri in Geneva) than read much fic. I just find it hard to get into any kind of fiction when I don’t feel private/secure.
