I finally finished my answers to this meme! Thanks for distracting me while I wait for the Pretty Little Liars season finale and dread the news that all my hopes and speculation are wrong and it’s not Ezra after all.
Here are the answers to the 15 characters meme I did a bit ago -- I made a list of characters and got people to ask me questions about them using just the numbers. *loves this meme*
Katara
Draco Malfoy
James Rhodes
Minerva McGonagall
Faith
Original Cindy
Sokka
Neville Longbottom
Natasha Romanov
Charles Gunn
Peggy Carter
Hanna Merrin
Thor Odinson
Severus Snape
Alison DiLaurentis
drazzi asked: Draco, Minerva, Original Cindy and Neville write autobiographies. What are they titled and which one sells the best?
Blond Ambition by Draco Malfoy.
Goddess of War by Minerva McGonagall. (She wouldn’t, she’d be much too classy, but it’s what I’d called it. That or The Cat’s Pyjamas.)
Original by Original Cindy.
The Homeowner’s Compendium of Hyacinth by Neville Longbottom. (AKA Neville would never write an autobiography.)
I think Draco’s would sell the best - OC comes from a devastated economy, and notoriety sells ;)
bohemiabythesea asked: Katara, Rhodey, Sokka, Peggy Carter, and Alison DeLaurentis are forced to go underground together. Who leads the group, and how do they survive? If Sokka gets detained or arrested, will the others break/bail Sokka out, and how?
AHAHA. Well, I reckon they’d be good at it; Katara and Sokka have experience hiding from an evil dictator while attempting to bring him down, Peggy was a double agent, and of course Alison spent TWO YEARS living under the radar. Rhodey might find the whole experience upsetting but he must have good survival skills to go with his A+ brain.
The question of WHO IS LEADER would be fraught I think. My guess is that Peggy would take the lead automatically, and Rhodey, Katara and Sokka would follow her - Rhodey would respect her guts and strategising and he’s good at either leading or following when required. Sokka and Katara are a lot younger, and again good at being leaders or followers depending on the situation. Alison would not be happy about this - SHE IS THE QUEEN BEE DAMMIT AND ALSO HAS WAY MORE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BLOW THEM ALL UP.
I’m genuinely not sure who would win? And they do have completely opposite skillsets. My guess is Alison would end up leader and mastermind and Peggy would be second-in-command who could totally take over in the field, especially while Alison was sneaking her way into prison with Katara using her knowledge of prisons, ability to lie and skills in exploiting the talents of other teenage girls eg Katara’s bending. They’d blow out the water system once they got in and then Peggy and Rhodey would kick in some heads to get them out, while Sokka was going “um guys I had a plan there was no need for all this blowing up stuff” behind them.
kikimay asked: Rhodey, Draco, Minerva, Neville sing at karaoke. Which song does each one of them choose?
Rhodey - Iron Man, obviously. It goes viral on social media and Tony Instagrams his middle finger.
Draco - Half-Life by Duncan Sheik, because it’s my ultimate post-DH Draco song. It takes too much out of me to pretend / tell me now, tell me how to make amends.
Minerva - ... Everybody Wants To Be A Cat. I’m sorry. But they DO!
Neville - I Handle Snakes by Tonio K. :DDD It’s my life, it’s my decision / it’s my idea of a good time / it’s my religion. *ships him with all the Slytherins*
idikehaine asked: Minerva McGonagall and Faith have a one night stand and Faith gets pregnant. Natasha proposes to Faith and Minerva gets to be the godparent. The baby will very lightly resemble Peggy.
Minerva and Faith together would be… fascinating, compelling and likely to end in explosions, I feel. Also ARGH FAITH PREGNANT NOPE. I just. Wow she would not want to be pregnant at all, given her job and her experience with her own mother and the lack of control over your own body involved in pregnancy. But given the premise of the question doesn’t allow for an abortion, I’m gonna say Minerva is all OH DEAR MAGIC CAN BE UNPREDICTABLE I WILL HELP IN ANY WAY I CAN and Buffy is all DO WHAT YOU WANT, IT’S ALL OKAY and maybe Faith has had a thing for Natasha for a long time and Natasha feels the same way. They’re opposites in some ways - Natasha’s regimented childhood and lifelong training for her role, Faith’s chaotic upbringing and how being Chosen made her powerful and special for the first time. But they get it enough, they connect, and Faith - well, I tend to think she grew up Catholic, and she wants to “choose life” as part of being Good and Different. And then Natasha is like “but for X Spurious Superhero Reason you need to be married and look respectable while having a baby” and she’s ALSO sort of terrified of having to BRING UP A CHILD OH GOD but they are both pure grit so. AND THEN OBVIOUSLY THE SPURIOUS SUPERHERO MARRIAGE BECOMES REAL. AWWWWW.
la_mariane asked: What are Gunn, Hanna and Snape’s favourite TV series or movies?
Gunn says his favourite film is Die Hard, but I like to think Gilbert and Sullivan - and other musicals - were kind of something he liked even before Wolfram & Hart. He likes Rent because it’s about rebels in a big city making it together, and also because the combination of people who came from nothing and people who came from privilege but couldn’t make a life there is like, especially relatable for him after he encounters Angel Investigations. He used to sing we’re not gonna pay, we’re not gonna pay while fixing up his truck and his sister made fun of him.
Hanna’s - well, we’ve seen her watch horror. I think Gossip Girl would be a bit too close to home for her, and Desperate Housewives too. SATC might work, because again it’s fashion and female frierndship, but I genuinely think she’d really like Buffy. Because the fashion is fun, there are horror elements, it gets the awfulness of high school with enough distance that she can handle it, and because Buffy and Cordelia are heroes who were popular and not always kind but became better.
Snape doesn’t watch telly. He reads book. Very serious books. And occasionally a bit of Biggles :)
kellychambliss asked: Rhodey, OC, and Hanna get a job that requires them, at least two days a week, to be the only three people in the work space (whatever it is). What is the job, who is the slacker, who is the efficient one?
...These three people having the same job? Um. Well OC likes fashion and primping and so does Hanna. And Rhodey is a good guy and in the military. SO Hanna goes in to help the mutants put their best foot forward from a PR standpoint, because she is brave and kind and good at reinvention and looking mysteriously incredible for a teenager from a one-parent family. OC works with her on this, and Rhodey is the military liaison but also totally on their side.
So they are all working together on PR and the weird nation’s relationship with the world outside. Rhodey would be super-efficient. OC would slack off sometimes, bemoaning the days of chronic underemployment at Jam Pony, and then make up for it and then some in a crisis. Hanna would appear to be slacking off down the pub and then be all JUST MADE YOU A DEAL WITH THE BIGGEST NEWS NETWORK AROUND BOOM WHO LOVES YOU BABY.
...The more I talk about it the more I want this fic.
kellychambliss asked: Katara, Neville, and Snape find themselves in one of those situations where they have to share body warmth or die. Which one wants sex, which one wants death, which one wants some other method?
Snape definitely wants death, bless him. DEATH BEFORE INTIMACY, particularly with a fourteen-year-old girl and Neville bloody Longbottom. Neville also kind of wants death, because noooo touching SNAPE? Aside from the fact that Snape terrorised him (and, I think, symbolised everything about old-world vengeful pureblood culture that Neville wanted no part of) there is little in the world more mortifying than touching a teacher. Neville wants to make fire, and Snape is like “didn’t you get enough of fire that time the Dark Lord set your head on fire?” and Katara is like, “yeah I have an ambiguous relationship with fire myself.” And you know, Neville is seventeen and kind and heroic and led a ragtag bunch of young people in semi-hiding against unjust evil, and therefore could not be more Katara’s type. So she wants sex :D Which is the other reason Neville is all OH GOD LET THE END COME SWIFTLY.
kellychambliss asked: Faith and Gunn have an argument. About what? Who wins?
The best way to recharge/come down/relax after a fight. What the best stuff is to eat, whether to vegetate in front of the TV or go dancing and ride the adrenaline, whether alcohol is a good idea. Faith says sex is a great thing to do post-battle and Gunn lets her win this one :DDD
anemonen asked Katara and Faith are both pining after Natasha. They're all good friends. What happens to them? Will they remain friends?
(I feel like mostly what this question does is expose my enormous, enormous weakness for heroic girls with traumatic pasts that they don’t want to pass on and ~darkness inside them.)
Well, naturally they are pining after Natasha! She is fabulous, beautiful, incredibly clever and good at combat and discovering the truth. Also Katara really wants female mentors, especially one who can understand the urge for revenge and the desire to fight injustice all at once. Faith is - she wants someone who understands the darkness, and being connected to the darkness you fight, and recovering from what you were and being better.
I think for Natasha this would be complicated. Now, assuming Katara is still fourteen or at least young, that is 100% not going to happen. She’d want to help her, especially given, you know, traumatised teenage girl who got together with a bunch of friends to fight evil. It’d just be a matter of negotiating that and the crush. Which Natasha could do, she is awesome atmanipulation diplomacy, but I don’t know if she’d feel great about it given she’d probably end up slipping into a different persona to handle it?
Natasha would be all ‘don’t, I am bad’ at Faith, and perhaps end up being tempted into a torrid night of passion she KNOWS she should refuse given Faith’s feelings for her. And Faith would be like “...ah. Well, nothing new” and be like horribly heartbroken and angry and pretending she wasn’t. But AFTER that, after finding she could be angry and heartbroken by a hero and still stay on the side of light, they would all find their way to being friends again.
(and it would end in Faith/Buffy. OTP OF OTPPPPPPPS.)
