IT’S STILL THE WEEKEND. SORT OF.

First I must rec Ravished In The Woods, which

enchanted_jae wrote me for my birthday. I asked for some more of her fluffy vampire!Harry verse, because there’s little I find more delightful than fluffy vampire fic or Jae’s curtain fic, and got the EXCITING BONUS of roleplay sexytime! And Harry having his feathers ruffled by Draco being sarcastic and not a very good helpless victim of a fierce vampire :DDD

Otherwise, recs this week dominated by the Ron/Draco fest along with some stuff I’ve had in the rec-later pile for yonks. There’s still one long fic written for my prompt which I haven’t gotten to, argh, but I’ve read pretty much everything else and it’s great.

secretlypadfoot. Ron/Draco; 3100 words; NC-17; substance abuse. (Author warns for dub-con due to Draco being a lot more under the influence, but Ron asks for explicit consent at a couple of points.) Summary: Draco is forced to resort to a Muggle pub for his drinks one night. He never expects to recognize anyone, let alone Ron Weasley. But his one-time enemy doesn't seem to want to argue, and Draco's fourth-drink instinct leads to an impulsive decision.

Down-and-out!Draco is one of my favourite tropes, and his emotions come across really strongly here. It’s sad, and sexy, and bittersweet - I really want more of this one so I can get the hurt/comfort, haha.

I've been coming back to this again and again since I saw it. SO HOT and such a sense of loving kink - so much of their relationship comes through. I love the bondage round Draco's ankles and that Ron's physically holding his wrists, and that Draco's hands are relaxed - so trusting while Ron's got his hand wrapped in Draco's hair and could choke him on cock. The viewpoint's great and I love what we see of their faces, and Ron's freckles. ALSO DEEPTHROATING HELLO.

Ron thinks this is the perfect opportunity for a bit of revenge and convinces Draco that they are a couple and uses Draco as a sort of maid. However, he realizes that there is a lot of redeeming qualities to Draco and slowly begins to fall in love.

I love this - vulnerable Draco in that first panel, and the second is such a crazy mix of cute, happy Draco and the viewer knowing it's all a lie and the kink of the outfit. The last panel is amazing, though, and why I wanted to rec this. It’s so intense - combined with the title it really tells a story.

Hot, I love the colours, and the sense of passion comes across really strongly. Their hair and tattoos are gorgeous, but my favourite part is Draco’s little frown and open mouth as he pushes himself down, and oh Ron’s expression <333
