Yeah, it's one of the cool things about my upbringing :) My parents met through that interest too - she was doing an essay about something Senegalese and her tutor recommended that she ask my dad as a west Africa expert, and they ended up having their honeymoon in Senegal. And my dad was born in Nigeria, it's where my paternal grandparents met, so there was always a ton of west African art etc around the house and we support Ghana and Nigeria in the footie.
