This is gonna be AMAZING! It’s gonna be in Canterbury: beautiful and historic and awesome, and v right for the telling of Tales. We’re having this post-war celebatory theme with a fantastic Victory Ball!

And there’ll be a group showing of Deathly Hallows 2 for free! And panels, workshops, round-tables, meet-ups, lots of gorgeous art... THE AWESOME IS JUST OVERWHELMING. We’re giving our boy a proper send-off, big and beautiful and full of cool people. :DDD You know you wanna come!

OOH! I just read the thing properly, and after an hour or two of pouting that I could not scam another week off this July, I realised that it is NEXT year! I can absolutely do that! And I love Canterbury!

I'm trying to see if I can work it out, altho airfare would be would be more expensive during july. I would LOVE to come, it's just a matter of finances as I didn't anticipate a con paid in GBP. ;)

Fair enough, I am v poor myself! But we are a SUPER cheap con: early-bird pricing is £40, with a £5 discount if you get accomodation too.

I still have a bank account over there... however, if I end up pregnant all plans go out the window. And I'm considering coming from New Zealand, as this is enough notice to save and plan... *quietly excited*

"There is a convention in Canterbury next year in July… for Harry Potter fans… Um…
And that’s Canterbury England btw…"

There is a Canterbury in NZ as well. And considering he wants the baby more than me... I might talk to him about it and say the savings account I have set up... if no baby by then I get to go to England (squee!) however if a baby then savings go to baby furniture etc... sounds like a good bargain to me!
