Merlin 210: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Merlin-Style
…Especially in that Puck and Oberon (magical servant and royal) were totally doin’ it.
:D :D :D Merlin teasing Arthur about his feelings for Gwen just makes me so happy and amused, I have :D faces floating around my head.
OMG. Creepy man going “sweet dreams!” at peacefully sleeping Arthur = SUPERCREEPY.

ARTHUR: Feelings.
MERLIN: Girls.
ARTHUR: Flowers?
MERLIN: Sex!

*facepalm* I really hoped the misunderstanding would be straightened out before it got to this point... Gwen is going to cry, and then she is going to beat Merlin and Arthur to death with a shoe.
MERLIN: I may have caused a problem. Arthur’s in love!
GAIUS: How did you cause that? I told you to keep your legs together but oh no, the young know better...
Oh Arthur. *pats his head* Chicken worked for you with Gwen, I know. *lols at the memory of him pulling the chicken’s legs apart* But it is not the way to every girl’s heart.
VILLAIN: Every woman in the land is attracted to this boy! I’m almost attracted to him myself.

SLASHERS: How do we spell your name again?
MERLIN: I’m sorry, since when is he getting ravaged by the weekly villains? I’ll be speaking to my union!
Oh, Gwen’s misguided little smile after Arthur kills me. :(
AHAHAHA. I do love magical rom-coms, and Merlin saying “shan’t!” to the Lady Vivian is the best thing ever.
But soft! What boy through yonder window breaks?

YAY! The second Arthur/Gwen kiss made me just as squeeful and squishy as the first. :)
I imagine “I’ve never loved another” does not make the Arthur/Merlin slashers happy, or indeed the Arthur/Morgana shippers. But that whole scene made me happy.
YAY VICTORY! Oh, it was so fun to have a funny, light magical rom-com episode after the last few episodes’ angst.
