lokifanIcon meme tiem! Before, in twelve days or so, my double package of brilliant icons is TRAGICALLY RIPPED AWAY by the ill-suited scheduling of Livejournal and the dole office.

This one just makes me happy. I’m a Giles/Spike shipper, and there’s an element of that. I also just love the Giles/Spike cohabitation in S4 - it’s bloody hilarious and I always like Giles/Spike stuff in fics. Whether it’s them playing off each other (“we band of buggered...”) in platonic English sarcasm, or having kinky sex.
I love Willow/Tara S5. And the ‘strong like an Amazon’ moment - as well as being the first time they kissed on the lips on-screen - is just incredibly cute, and very much speaks to me as the sort of in-joke two university-educated lesbians would have. Plus it’s a cute icon to have for commenting on sadtimes posts. We’ll be okay! Strong like an Amazon! *kisses*

ALL THE COMPANIONS ARE BRILLIANT. I love this one! Just looking at it makes me feel the happy Who feelings. Also, while Rose left me very cold and I passionately love the others - there have been fights in Who fandom, especially Rose vs Martha, about which Companions the fans and the Doctor should or do like best. And I like this icon because it’s just like THEY ARE ALL BRILLIANT.
I loved Jack/John instantly and fiercely and far more than I ever liked Jack/Ianto. (Not that I disliked that pairing - as with Rose, I felt no dislike, but it wasn’t until something else I liked infinitely better came along that I realised how little I cared.) And this icon... it just makes me wibble. Because part of my liking for pairings with a history is a liking for that moment: ‘time was... you loved me once.’ But you don’t now, you love someone else and you’re not the person who loved me. I love it when that’s okay, despite the importance of caring for someone because you loved them once. But what I loved about Jack/John was that Jack had moved on - ‘seen places he never would have seen, loved people he never would have met’ if he hadn’t - and John was stuck, the same emotionally bankrupt person, still loving Jack.
One of my new Thor icons! I have been on a SPREE of Thor icon-getting. I love Loki’s utter glee in this. And in fandom you can never have too many I AM WICKEDLY AMUSED BY THIS icons.

My default! Not sure why it became my default, really; but it’s simple and fun and expresses my liking for Doctor Who. And I think the slogan is very me, in its sense of humour.
I love Angel/Spike in all permutations, but most especially Angelus/William. I like the olde-timey font, the sexy sentiment that also shows LOL ANGELUS WHAT A DOUCHE, and the words combined with the great image from that brilliant first-meeting scene.

Everybody needs a meta icon! I do, anyway, and preferably one that suggests you don’t take yourself too seriously.
I lovered_charlach’s stuff, and I like that this expresses Amy’s cheekiness. It feels a little behind the times now, and I’m not crazy about the implications of shippiness - but I got it initially because I love both Amy and the Doctor and their changing dynamic.
