Am currently at
son_of_darkness’ house watching ALL THE BLACK BUTLER. We’re two-thirds of the way through Series 2 and I’ll have finished it by the time I see comments on this post, so don’t worry about spoilers.
I felt very sorry for Alois by the end of E9 but he is a HORRIBLE, BULLYING, BITCHY CHILD – and I dislike him for it. (I know, I know. Blond and neurotic and somewhat sadistic and a social bully and yearning desperately for approval. But Draco has never done anything half so awful what Alois does in the first episode of series 2!) And also, even though it’s effectively heartbreaking, Alois and Claude don’t do the Thing I love of villains who adore each other. Poor kid.
Claude I approve of if only because his whole relationship with Sebastian thrills me. I was initially HIGHLY ANNOYED by him, but he is significantly less awesome than Sebastian yet good enough to be real competition, and that’s cool. Also, antagonistic relationships + deal-making = happy me.
Grell and Sebastian and Ciel continue to be the greatest. So huzzah for that. And I sporfled at the train episode: having all these strangers on a train come together to contribute what they can and save the train from four different terrible dangers, only for Sebastian to go ‘LOL no’ and take care of it all himself? AHAHAHAHA SO WIN.
BTW, feel free to rabidly disagree!

I don't have much to contribute to the BB conversation, except that it's fun watching you all go squeeful over it, even if I'm not part of it.

Date: 2011-11-12 10:56 pm (UTC)Things are kind of sorting out. I saw a room today and liked it, and it doesn't seem like the woman was seeing lots of other people. There are downsides: it's way out in Ilford :( and I would have to install wireless myself :(. But the place is nice and affordable, and the other housemates are apparently out a lot, which is not as nice as having them around a lot and friendly but means they won't get the opportunity to drive me nuts. So, yeah. Plus, I have another two viewings tomorrow!
Awww. *hugs you*
