Free of Guilt or Shame by elfflame. Rodolphus/Draco, 1300 words, NC-17; dub-con, brief mention of bloodplay.

This is present-tense, and that amps up the intensity; it’s short and incredibly hot and vivid, talking about this pattern, where Rodolphus comes to Draco and fucks him and humiliates him with dirty talk and it’s all messed-up and hot.

Draco is pouty and blushing, and Harry has this adorable ‘hehehe!’ face, and it’s so cute. I really like the style, too - their sketched, expressive faces against a bright blue background.

Avengers fic

Lie For Me by madcat_33. Loki & Bruce gen, ~1000 words, G; major character death.

Bruce and Tony found a way to kill Loki, and Bruce sits with him while he dies. So sad, and every line rings so true - especially what Loki asks Bruce to tell Thor.

No One Else Here Thinks This Is A Good Idea by Anon. Thor/Loki with Avengers, 2000 words, NC-17.

This is short but glorious - I love the Thor!POV for the first half. There are loads of really excellent character touches and great bits of dialogue and the prose itself is lovely. I have nothing but praise for a fic that begins with post-Avengers!Thor and Loki just going for a beer.

Humility by penlex. Pepper/Tony, NC-17, ~5500 words.

This is Pepper!POV, which is fun in itself, and means the reader shares Pepper’s confusion at what’s going on with Tony. He’s trying desperately hard to be a good boyfriend, terrified he’s fucking up, and reverent of Pepper in this uncomfortable way. Pepper works out a way to solve Tony’s fear of betraying her: a cock-cage. And it is incredibly sexy in that way where even if it’s not your kink, the characters get off on it so much that you do too. And I just love the sex scene, even though that’s definitely not all there is to the fic, because it is my favourite thing: sexy kink within an obviously well-established couple, with a safeword and Pepper knowing what Tony likes and experimentation and HOTNESS.

I love the premise: Loki gets drunk off the energy powering Tony’s arc reactor. And he’s a lusty drunk. Tony attempts to interrogate him post-Avengers and it all inevitably ends in hot sex.
