I actually really love one of the Tumblr styles of tagging, ie coming up with very individual tags that are basically only helpful to you but also get to the heart of what you love about a character or relationship. (Tell me about your tags in comments, if you like!)

Okay so a couple of examples. On Tumblr my Harry/Draco tag is 'otp: the wand chooses the wizard'. My Thor/Loki tag is 'otp: never doubt I love you'. For Santana/Brittany it's 'otp: built my life around you'. So while I often use a phrase that one half of the pairing said to the other like with Thor and Loki, I'm also down with a sideways version of that like the Santana/Brittany one – it's an unsung line from one of their songs – or just a phrase from canon if it allows for both ~meaningful stuff about their entangled plotline and dick jokes.

SO. PLEASE HELP ME CHOOSE A KORRA/ASAMI TAG. I have been watching Korra to help me survive this awful, brain-sucking cold, and I need to reblog a lot of fanart and I have somehow never nailed down their tag!

Looking snazzy as always (this is something Korra says to Asami WHILE BLUSHING BECAUSE ASAMI SAID SHE LIKED KORRA'S HAIR, and also super true for both of them and appropriately fun. Not terribly ~meaningful though.)

Hope you haven't been waiting long (something Korra says to Asami, which has a double-meaning and refers to the years Korra was away when the ONLY PERSON SHE WROTE TO WAS ASAMI. Also a reference to the shippers and our yeeeeearning for so long.)

Never had a girlfriend before. (Something Korra said to Asami, and like. Obviously. Particularly because 'girlfriend' doesn't really have the non-romantic meaning in British English. And, you know, they are adorable ickle bbs! Coming of age! Etc etc)

like a fast car. (This has no basis in canon but kind of pleases me. Seems appropriate on multiple levels. Plus I have a longstanding fondness for the Fast Car vid back from season 1 when all I was hoping for was lots of people writing fanfic.)
