LOL! I have it because my bedroom is a converted sitting room - student housing. :) Although the fact that both big downstairs rooms have fireplaces is pretty good, since this is a post-war house. My parents' house is Victorian (not unusual where I come from) and there are big fireplaces with proper mantlepieces in the sitting room, dining room, and the main bedroom.
