You know, having the move to London, my new job, and the birthday that puts me inarguably into the mid-twenties all happen within a month really made it seem like I was very much in a new phase of my life. Of course there’s always the feeling of ‘I could always get fired and have everything fall apart’, but it seems pretty plausible that this could be where I remember the start of the next phase of my life beginning. I do very much remember my adult life in phases - uni, the unemployed eighteen months afterwards, Vietnam… and yeah. I’ve even been tidying my room because I like how it looks tidy rather than in mad fear because I have a friend coming over. I’m buying my own bit of furniture and maybe a screwdriver and frames for posters. Almost like I’m maturing -

Then I put laundry in at 1am wearing a translucent slip and the bottom half of my Christmas pyjamas while praying my roommates didn’t come in, and was reminded that maturity is what we make of it :)

In that spirit, let’s play a game! I am trying to make my femmefest fic happen - Smudge’s death has kind of thrown my writing out of whack, needless to say - but yeah. At least this will involve more fandom brain-use than my current, horrible addiction to 2048: Chris Evans edition. Goddamn copperbadge.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that is really hard! Like in general or in terms of hotness? I will do in general!

5. Scarlett Johansson. One of the hottest women I have ever seen in my life and I love her as Natasha, and I love her feminism, but speaking for a company that works out of illegal settlements in Palestine is :(((

4. Chris Hemsworth. He is charming and SUPER hot and I enjoy his banter and his deep laugh, but he also seems to feel a bit silly in his superhero outfit doing Thor lines and that makes me like him a bit less.

3. Robert Downey Jr. He is SO HILARIOUS and everything about him IRL makes me laugh and admire him so much. I am putting him here only because sometimes his clothing choices scald my eyeballs. Although I do also enjoy that a super-famous film star goes on the red carpet in clothes that have surely not been vetted by any stylist from Earth.

2. Chris Evans. He's so adorable and so gorgeous and SO ADORABLE. Also his BFF-ness with Scarlett delights me, and how he met Anthony Mackie in a library, and HE CALLED HIMSELF A MEATBALL IN A FILMED INTERVIEW I WILL NEVER RECOVER.

1. Tom Hiddleston. He is also adorable with fabulous hair, and I love that he has precisely one dance move but he really works those snake hips, and all the charity work is AWESOME. Also he's a Brit who loves Shakespeare and came out of London theatre so I like to support that :) He's so thoughtful in interviews and I love how unapologetically seriously he takes Loki. And for real such great hair.

In general is a good choice. More reasoning behind and all. I like your choices! I think part of why I picked this one is that it's SO HARD to do! I love them all a lot. Though I think I'd probably rank them close to where you are *G*
My Hiddleston-crush is epic and a constants source of me simultaneously facepalming over myself and enjoying it so much because I start smiling stupidly whenever tumblr gives me one of his smiles. Which is also really nice, because yay for happy stuff.
I adore RDJ, also because he's weird in all the good kinds of ways and doesn't give a fuck (as evidenced by his sometimes horrible sometimes awesome fashion choices). He's like my spirit animal or something.
And Evans is just SO DAMN CUTE AND NICE! I can't even with that guy. Also, that body. Damn.
Hemsworth is cool and relaxed and nice and has an older wife and is so very Australian about everything I can't help liking him.
Johannson is so gorgeous too and strong and feminist and I've come to admire her acting skills a lot. (I still only have one woman I'm seriously attracted to, and this isn't her, but if there's ever going to be a second, she'd be a great contender *G*)
