lokifanThree times makes a pattern! Looks like I’ll keep doing this, for my own amusement if nothing else. I’m not used to this whole ‘watching episodes with the rest of the fandom’ concept.
Merlin 103: Michelle Ryan Makes Merlin All Shook Up
Oh hai, Michelle Ryan! Another of Russell T Davies’ bright-eyed young brunettes, how strange. It’s almost like they’re trying to appeal to a crossover audience.
Hee, happy family scene with Guinevere! I hope this is not because her father is going to die tragically of the plague.
Sure, allow us to pause transporting this plague victim for Merlin/Guinevere cuteness.
:D I like that the flowers provide romantic subtext between Guinevere and Morgana too. And Guinevere continues to be adorable, of course.
The plague actually is quite scary. Mostly because I’m easily scared by such things, but still. And HEE, having a messy room can save your life! Thank you for sending this important message to The Youf, Merlin.
*sigh* Please stop repeating the separation of magic and science, scriptwriters, you are banging so hard on your anachronisms that I’m getting a headache.
Oh noes! Gwen’s dad! But Merlin will save him at the price of revealing his magic to her, right? Yes?
Ooh, even better. I am easily manipulated and found that heartwarming. :) Plus, aww more Merlin/Guinevere cuteness! Guinevere being intelligent and awkward! And... now there is doom and Guinevere is going to be arrested. STOP IT YOU BASTARDS SHE IS THE BEST. SOMEBODY SAVE HER.
I feel so bad for all four of them! Arthur’s right, he can’t turn a blind eye but his father won’t listen, and Morgana’s best friend is going to be killed for something she didn’t do, and Merlin gets the guilt! *collapses in overwrought pile*

Liking everybody working together to fix the problem. Particularly Morgana. I love pretty ladies with a fine line in bravery and snark.

YAY! They won! Guinevere is free! And apparently King Giles has history with Nimueh.
...Nimeuh. Huh. All I remember of her from the legend is that she used her sexy wiles to imprison Merlin in a tree. That seems cracky enough to happen here.
And Merlin yearns for someone to know. I know perfectly well this is just teasing, okay, programme?
