I have been ill for six days. I am REALLY TIRED of being ill, you guys. I have tonsillitis - something I've had over and over again in my life (including maybe a dozen times when I was nine, and a memorably horrific dose at uni). I should get them removed really - I know they protect you from disease but I'm just ridiculously susceptible to the disease.
Luckily this is a week and pathetic strain (although with the tell-tale signs of it being specifically tonsillitis) so the main issues are body aches and a hacking cough, plus of course the sore throat. This last being the major issue, as you might expect with a teaching job. I managed to get through this weekend (couldn't be ill, everyone's on holiday so most of the teachers were teaching a full load already) but for the last class Sunday I put on The Lion King and called it a day.
But I have work again today :( Nooooo I am still not well. I just want two days of doing NOTHING to get this thing sent on its way. Working six days a week is the worst, even with only one class Tues-Fri. But I also don't want to be pathetic...
Will decide in like an hour. (It's an evening class, 5:30 - 7:30.) In the meantime, as I attempt to get my writing back on track - ill + working nearly every day /= writing - let's do a fun meme!
