This was an amazing Christmas present: a beautiful piece of traditional art (which I am looking at right now FUCK YEAH BITCHES) that just gives me ALL THE FEELS. His pointy little face, the snow, THAT QUOTE. OMG. I am soooo late reccing this, you have no idea. But it’s GORGEOUS. Inspired by some of the poetry I posted for National Poetry Month, it uses the fire metaphor in a very clever way by bringing the Floo network into things: is the fire danger or anonymity or safety? Idk, it just mixes with the idea of numbness/depression and ‘depression too is a type of fire’ in such a cool way. Plus, the line describing Harry and Draco having sex and Harry “feeling warm for the first time in years”? It is beautiful and sexy and perfect.

Reading Between The Lines by Anonymous. Rita/Hermione, ~1400 words, NC-17; orgasm denial, D/s, bondage, begging.
Hermione as the well-read virgin responding to a personals ad and Rita as the experienced, hot domme - I love it. And it ends with Hermione still desperate, which I rather enjoy: that’s proper orgasm denial, that is.
The Next Steps by Anonymous. Ron/Hermione/Harry, ~11 500 words, NC-17; dirty talk, 17-year-old Harry. Summary: In the immediate aftermath of the Ron and Hermione start their relationship and it gets complicated. There’s family, grief and what to do next, but most of all, there’s Harry.
This is the Trio - and everyone else - immediately post-DH. Grieving, and trying to find out who they are when they aren’t at war, and finding they are still defined by each other. The fic has the odd typo, but it’s SO worth reading: I love the sense of the world outside the trio, of everyone else who’s recovering and what happened while they weren’t there - the Ginny/Neville being an excellent part of that, along with the trio’s kindness to Xenophilius. Ron/Hermione sex with dirty talk about Harry is super hot, and when the three come together it’s just perfect hurt/comforty Trio-ness. The fic argues that Hermione’s memory spell on her parents would be irreversible - which makes sense, and adds to the pathos and lovely sense of the Trio being each other’s family. ♥ Both very cuddly and perfect as an antidote to Christmas fluff.

This isn’t generally my pairing, but I just love this: Neville’s shocked blush and Harry’s happily predatory expression give me joy. Plus the black-and-white background adds even more verve to the boys.

Also, come on, it’s Kat and Missy from 10 Things I Hate About You and Bring It On fucking. What more do you need?
